Cybil Bennett is five feet eleven inches tall, topped with short blond hair. She is thin, but solid. She tends to muscle more than curve, and when she dresses (either in police gear or in jeans and t-shirts) she does nothing to mitigate this.
Village peculiarity: As of May 9, 2008, Cybil almost always wears a silver chain around her neck, with a white-gold ring hanging from it. When at work, she wears it under her shirt; when she's dressing up she leaves it out. Do not fuck with the ring.
Usually, her face is composed, even to the point of infuriating calmness. She radiates sensibility.
After her experiences in Silent Hill, she spent a few months with a kind of manic edge to her voice-- but she's regained her equilibrium.

So where was I, for that long whenever time when I left Brahms, before I ran with Harry Mason out into the light?
I don't know. I guess it was Silent Hill. Some part of Silent Hill, anyway. The id of the town. Do towns have ids?
Look, I'm just a cop, they don't pay me enough to deal with this.
This is what I know:
The Silent Hill police station stopped contacting us one day. Just nothing, no communication-- static on the lines. They sent me out to find out what was wrong.
I found an empty town, covered in fog; the roads were cut off by holes, the houses were empty. The only man in the whole area was Harry Mason, looking for his daughter. I went to try to find her; I never saw a trace. Mason was going insane, every time I met him he was getting worse--talking about monsters, blood, corpses. He'd had a blow to the head. He was hallucinating, that was all.
But he wasn't hallucinating, goddamn it.
I had a bad time. I don't want to talk about it. And don't play any fu-- don't play any calliope music, all right? Thanks.
Now I'm in Haurvatat. I can't leave this place, either. But you know what? I like it better here.

Cybil Bennett is an NPC and Level Boss in the game Silent Hill I. The player can save or kill her, depending on what you've done previously in the game. For the purposes of play here, she's been saved along with Harry Mason and tiny baby Heather (the good+ ending).
She also appears in the movie Silent Hill, which is not considered canon for gameplay here. If you mention characters from that movie who don't appear in game, she'll look at you blankly.
